Former deputy Mark Frroku was arrested by the Durrës police, after investigations into the clash that occurred yesterday between some residents and representatives of the church regarding the claim for land ownership in the coastal area.

We remind you that some people had a conflict yesterday in the area of Cape Rodoni in Durrës, due to the claims that the parties involved in the fight have over a property in that area. According to the information, it is suspected that there were also gunshots in the ongoing conflict, but fortunately no injuries were reported while the police accompanied the two parties involved in the conflict.
According to the information, the conflict occurred between the citizen with the surname Kaculi, who has a property at the entrance of the park, and the latter conflicted with representatives of the Catholic Church. The conflict is thought to have started because of a piece of land, where both sides claim to have a share in this part of the land which is a park!
The representatives of the Catholic Church had a conflict with the family members of the Kaculi family, when the representatives of the Catholic Church were surrounding the property for which they have a certificate of ownership. The conflict then escalated to physical violence, where the parties were punched. The "apple of dispute" property has two ownership certificates, one is owned by the Franciscan Church and the other is owned by the Kaçuli family.

At the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the work continues for clarification and full legal documentation of today's case. We clarify that in relation to the parties' claims for the ownership certificate, the Police have referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office several times, for the conflicts that have occurred from time to time, between the parties", it was stated in the Police announcement .
