Journalist Artan Hoxha remembered the death of Kosta Trebicka. On September 12, 2008, the main witness of the Gërdec tragedy was found dead in Voskopoja. Authorities said it was an accident, but everyone knows he was eliminated to avoid revealing the truth about the weapons being dismantled. Why do they forget Kosta Trebicka?!
They don't even dare to mention his name because he doesn't care and is taken from the grave.
They are so afraid of him. The former Prime Minister in office Sali Berisha, today the head of the opposition, does not dare to mention it, because Kosta showed the Albanians how deep corruption had gone in his government, that he did not even spare their lives to get rich.
I dare not even mention the name of the former head of the opposition Edi Rama, today the prime minister in office, who benefited so much from Kosta's denunciation and promised him political protection.
I waited in vain yesterday, on the 15th anniversary of the "accidental" death (murder) of Kosta Trebicka, for someone from THEM above to remember his name, if only to benefit politically.
But no. No one made that "mistake".
Kosta Trebicka's name was mentioned on the date. It reminds them of their hands immersed in corruption.
It reminds them how the lives of children and poor Albanians are buried without mercy, just to get rich.
It reminds them of the mountains of evidence and facts buried together with the victims, which denounce the barbaric crimes and massacres of this political caste against its own people.
Precisely for this fact, Kosta Trebicka deserves to be replaced, as the martyr who denounced governmental-political corruption.
On September 12, 2008, Kosta Trebicka, the businessman who repackaged Chinese-made ammunition for the Albanian Army, which was sold to the Afghan army through a Pentagon tender of 300 million dollars, died (killed) under mysterious circumstances.
The key witness of the Gërdec scandal, the man who denounced government corruption. That showed the criminal connection to the Berisha government, his family, state institutions and a group of businessmen who are his favorite clients.
15 vite më pare, më 12 shtator 2008, kufoma e Kosta Trebickes u gjet e hedhur në një rrugë rurale në periferi të Voskopojës, në rrethana që nuk u hetuan kurrë në mënyrë shtërruese.
Njeriu që tentoi të luante “te penduarin”, pasi kishte qenë dhe vetë, pjesë e trafikut të municioneve të ushtrisë shqiptarë, heshti për gjithmonë, duke marrë me vetë gjithë sekretet që në ndoshta nuk do t’i mesojmë kurrë.
Në të vërtetë, Kosta Trebicka është viktima e 27 e tragjedisë se Gërdecit, te cilin nuk e vrau shpërthimi i madh i barutit ne depot e demontimit, por e vrau shpërthimi i skandalit te madh te qeverise Berisha…
Sot është fiks dita për të kujtuar ata qe thane te vërteten, dhe per te mos i harruar kurrë, ata qe e varrosen te vërteten…
Harresa e djeshme eshte me e dhimbshme se vet vdekja tragjike e Kostes.
Even though 15 years have passed since that tragic event, Kostas' remains may have been destroyed, but the fear of his name and what he denounced has not yet left them...
