Journalist Anila Hoxha has revealed details about the health condition of the convicted justice official Nuredin Dumani.
We recall that Nuredin Dumani ended up in the emergency room of Mother Teresa Hospital for medical check-ups after a health complication. The journalist also provided details regarding his health condition, explaining that the strict care for Dumani comes because he is a repentant justice official who can help solve many cases.
" What has prompted the Witness Protection Directorate to request support for an in-depth medical examination has been a persistent arrhythmia that Nuredin Dumani has displayed over the last few hours. This situation has also convinced the prison doctor that the convict should be sent for more specialized tests. Due to his importance as a protected witness, Nuredin Dumani, the main convict of justice, has been described by the media and institutions as the "Ace of SPAK", with whose testimony some of the most important criminal cases have been built and advanced. Even a minimal health concern, such as a headache, can provoke reactions and a request for an urgent examination, due to the key role he plays in investigations against criminal groups. Dumani has reported health problems and he was an injured patient at the moment of his arrest.
The two doctors who treated him at the time were prosecuted by the Fier Local Directorate due to the way they managed his treatment. Initially suspected and wanted for serious criminal offenses, Dumani was detained and, while undergoing medical treatment, began to cooperate with justice. His first testimony was given to the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office, but due to the excess of the powers of this prosecutor's office, the case was delegated to SPAK. Since then, his treatment has been carried out according to the standards of protected witnesses, including differentiated isolation, constant surveillance with security cameras, as well as special protection for life. Nuredin Dumani is held in the high-security building "41-bis", located inside prison 313 in Tirana. The Prison Police is responsible for controlling the external perimeter, while inside the building, every movement and action occurs in coordination with the Witness Protection Directorate.
This directorate also supervises family members who are part of the protection scheme, and has special protocols for any contact or action that may occur with the convict. In this context, every food product sent to Dumani is checked and packaged in a special way, to guarantee safety. The products consumed by him have been sent for analysis to the Institute of Forensic and Food Medicine, which has confirmed that they did not contain poisonous substances. Dumani initially showed arrhythmia and then breathing problems. Due to his role in solving some of the biggest cases of organized crime, he was assessed as an urgent case that had to be sent for in-depth analysis outside the prison institution , "said journalist Anila Hoxha.
