The former Senior Director of the State Police, Arben Hajdarmataj, has analyzed the dynamics of the murder in Vlora, where 23-year-old Gëzim Sinomati was executed by sniper on the balcony of the apartment.
Hajdarmataj said that the killing was carried out by a professional and paid, due to the high precision of the shot.
He added that one of the main tracks that the police should investigate should be that of revenge, since the victim turns out to be the son of Sokol Sinomat, a former member of the Gaxhai gang in 1997.
The expert described turning off the lights as an attempt by the perpetrators to avoid identification and business security cameras.
"This event is well organized and well planned in my opinion. Because of the past of the deceased's family, which in my opinion is the main clue, where the prosecution is investigating. It is also another track of relations that the deceased may have in the European Union country where he exercised his activity. This is the second clue, the first clue that needs to be investigated for the very fact that the uncle of the deceased some time ago they put tritol in the apartment, more hints that this happened because of the circumstances of the father's past of the victim, who was part of Gazhai's gang in Vlora. This event has a criminal past and the main track is revenge.
I think the authors have been following him for a long time. The fact that they waited for him to go out on the balcony and execute him while he was smoking means that they knew about his smoking habit. They knew the time it took him to smoke a cigarette. Yesterday was not the first day of observation. But there was earlier observation. He was shot in the head and it was a professional hit and we are dealing with a paid murder. He may have fired from a vehicle or from some building under construction. Then to turn off the lights, which is also an easy thing to understand that will understand the defect where it happened. The turning off of the lights was done in order not to be caught by the cameras, to have no possibility of identification", he said to "Euronews Albania".
