The mother of Xhemal Loka, who was arrested for pushing his wife to commit suicide, says that they received threats from her brothers that they will take revenge.
She says that her son has nothing to do with the 41-year-old's self-poisoning and that her daughter-in-law had tried to drink poison before.
" I am Sanije Loka, I am Xhemal Loka's mother. There is no mention of the poison they say Xhemali poisoned him.... in any way. My son has had no problems with it. My son did not give him the poison. But guess who gave it to him, did his father give it to him, or his own mother? He drank poison twice. We didn't give it to him. Why do they accuse us for nothing? And they slander us ," she said.
Asked if it is true that 40,000 euros were lost at home, Xhemal's mother confirmed it and said that her son forgave her for losing the money.
"It is true. It's been 10 years. They only know those two, she knows who took it, Bedrija had the money to steal, they stole it, but who doesn't know. When the boy came, he told him that my money was stolen. No, there was nothing. The day before, they drank coffee at Arjan Loka, open the cameras and look at him, you have Arjan on the street" , she said.
