Journalist Xhevahir Zhabina, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, has shown the dynamics of the serious incident where the Appeals Judge, Astrit Kalaja, was killed and two other people were injured.
Zhabina said that the perpetrator of the incident, Elvis Shkambi, emptied his pistol at the judge and two other people, parties to the case, and then handed the weapon over to the police, awaiting the arrival of law enforcement officers who arrested him.
The journalist explained that the case being tried concerned the ownership of a building in Shkodra where 30 families reside, but which was claimed by the Shkambi family. The perpetrator, as soon as he heard the verdict, committed the crime.
" There was a court session where the Shkambi family was one party and the other party was 30 families living in the city of Shkodra, in a building claimed by the Shkambi family. The author Elvis Shkëmbi, who accompanied his uncle Gjon Shkambi, was also present in this process. He passed the inspection and the process has begun.

According to the testimonies, the pistol was empty when he left the courtroom, ran out of bullets and handed it over to the guard. He then waited for the police, admitting that he was the perpetrator.
The judge was rushed to the hospital but died. The other two people are out of danger. This was the dynamics with which the incident occurred.
The author stated to the police that he acted against an injustice.
It is about a property issue, in a three-story building in Shkodra, which served as a former reserve in this city and was claimed by the Shkambi family. In 1993, families in need were sheltered and there are about 30 or 31 families. They claim to have documentation. The Shkambi family also claims to have documentation that they were the owners.
A court case has been initiated between the parties in the first instance, where the Shkambi family won, but the family members appealed and claimed that the Shkambi family falsified the documents.
The judge claimed in the decision that the Shkambi family has no chance of obtaining this property. At this moment, the 30-year-old took out his gun and it seems that he was prepared for the decision, waited for the decision and went armed to this institution.
A police officer guarding the courthouse was also arrested today.
