Arbri Street, from a nursery of corruption and abuse, seems to have turned into a danger for citizens as well. This road has not been completed for years, but in addition to that, the works that have been done are of poor quality, endangering the lives of those who cross that road.
Today it was announced that the passage on this axis has been blocked, since in the area known as "Shkalla e Tujani", there was a massive landslide of earth and stones.
According to the citizens, who were left with their vehicles on both sides of the road, movement was interrupted due to the massive stones and soil that fell on this road axis.
So it seems that the problem lies with the firm "Gjoka Konstruksion", which built this axis. It seems that no measures have been taken at all to prevent landslides, making this road a danger for citizens. Fortunately, there were no cars in circulation at that moment, because if there had been, we would have had a tragedy.
Until now, justice has closed its eyes to this flagrant affair. For this reason, it is expected that there will be a lawsuit in SPAK.
After the collapse of the massif on Rruga e Arbri, the democratic deputy, Kreshnik Çollaku, reacted, saying that the situation has only one name, misuse of public funds. Çollaku warns that very soon, the Arbri Street concession file will be taken to SPAK.

Affair with the "Rugga e Arbri"
This year, payments in the amount of ALL 3.5 billion are foreseen for the Arbri Street concession. Also, the deadline for the Murriz tunnel was postponed until 2025.
The Arbri Road contract was expected to be delivered in April 2022, but the government decided to postpone this contract for another 17 months, ending on September 20, 2023.
Arbri Road in total is expected to cost the citizens 40.3 billion ALL with payments that will continue until 2031. The citizens have already paid 15 billion ALL, while the entrepreneurial company has so far failed to deliver the facility according to the contract, where the key part , the tunnel in Qafë e Murriz, continues to be non-operational a year and a half after the expiration of the initial deadline. Currently, the government does not provide information on when the road may be completed, despite the fact that the undertaking company has received additional contracts. And not only that, but the same company has won a tender entitled "revitalization of the escarpments", which is effectively an addition to the addition of the contract for the construction of these fifty kilometers of roads. / Pamphlet
