The number of socialists who have eaten Edi Rama's plums behind his back is increasing. SPAK has investigated two other socialist mayors, who risk handcuffs.
Sources told Top Channel that the mayor of Kamza, Rakip Suli, and the mayor of Rrogozhina, Edison Memolla, are being investigated by the special prosecutor Elvin Gokaj, after the accusations that suspect both officials of abusing the city's cleaning tenders, but also that have signed indemnities on the damage to the houses from the earthquake.
SPAK has not yet questioned the two heads of local government, but has prepared invitations to question employees of the respective municipalities. In the preliminary data obtained from the investigation, it is suspected that some citizens have received compensation twice for the same object.
Meanwhile, in September, residents of Kamza made another complaint against Rakip Suli. In a statement to the media, lawyer Adriana Kalaja also listed the reasons for the report. According to her, SPAK submitted the audit of KLSH, where many violations were found.
" Today, we have presented the way in which municipal councilors are notified to hold meetings online, this is contrary to the law on local self-government, but also contrary to the regulation of the municipal council itself.
The opposition councilors have been asking the mayor and the municipal council for a long time to make available a regulation on how the municipal council functions, and even today, when we came to SPAK, this regulation is not available, she said .
It remains to be seen if SPAK will follow the current standard with the mayors, after arresting them all.
