Analyst Roland Bejko said that DP leader Sali Berisha did not lose in the May 11 elections because of the non-US woman.
Bejko said that the Berisha case is different from Milorad Dodik, who was removed from the US blacklist. He added that Berisha lobbied for the removal of the woman's name by paying a large sum of dollars.
"It depends on the negotiation that Berisha has done, or is doing. It is not a secret, he has paid a large amount of dollars. They are negotiating the removal of Berisha's non grata. If Dodik was someone who had real power and becomes an obstacle for Bosnia, the USA, there the issue is serious. For Berisha, they, the high American figures, know the risk that he is not in politics at all. But he is the leader of the opposition. They changed their position, they said it was a slip. For Berisha, it is good that he is removed. Berisha has not lost because he has been penalized with non grata. We do not know if the Americans will remove his non grata. The point is, as an American in the region, what work does Berisha hinder?" he said to "Abc News".
