For a week, the opposition has warned of the protest that will take place this afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., in front of the Parliament, which will then continue below the residence of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
The police have taken the relevant measures for the smooth progress of the protest, for which 400 police officers have been engaged.
Not only that, but several police vans and water cannons will be stationed in front of the doors of the parliament, to prevent any possible escalation of the protest.
High-quality cameras have also been installed in the perimeter of the Parliament.
The warnings from the opposition were precisely for the escalation of the ongoing protests, reaching a deadlock, as the Democratic Party deputies themselves have expressed.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in his daily speeches from his apartment, has called for everyone to join in this protest against Edi Rama's regime.
