The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, says that citizens will not be obliged to answer 3 questions in the census that will be conducted for the population census.
In the show "Real Story", Ibrahimaj said that these questions are related to religion, mother tongue and ethnicity.
According to her, there will be trained surveyors in areas where there are minorities or ethnic minorities.
"Actually, there are 3 questions that have been quite debated in the 2011 census and they are questions related to religion, mother tongue and ethnicity. There are 3 non-mandatory questions, so every citizen can decide not to answer these questions. These are questions that INSTAT should necessarily put in the census, as they give a picture, complete the picture of the country's demography.
For the areas that have minorities or ethnic minorities, there will even be surveyors who will be trained and have their own language, so that there will be no mistakes in filling in the data", she emphasized.
