The trial against Emiljano Shullazi and his associates, which began in December 2018 in the Court of Appeal, has been long-drawn out, with over 40 hearings postponed.
The GJKKO appeal has upheld the decision given by the Serious Crimes Chamber in 2018. A week before this decision was announced, specifically the hearing on November 24, 2021, in the Special Appeal for Emiljano Shullazi, Gilmando Dani, Endrit Qyqen, Endrit Zelen and Blerim Shullazi was accompanied by debates.
