Lawyer Edmond Petraj said that ILDKPI has the instruments to scan assets, including those of relatives of politicians and officials, but has never done so.

This is possible at any time, regardless of the statute of limitations, but SPAK has the opportunity. ILDKPI should delve into the property of officials according to the law. So it should also scan the property of the relatives of these officials. SPAK, for example, made a mistake in arresting Vangjush Dako, there was no evidence, he was not on duty for the case he was arrested, it was not their competence and he was imprisoned illegally. But SPAK should not stop its work ," says the lawyer.
Asked about other sensational arrests or hot files, Petraj recalled one that is also publicly known and that he warned could be the next one from SPAK. It concerns the denunciation that Bardhi made to Noka regarding his wealth.
" We know very well who Gazment Bardhi reported to SPAK! Did Flamur Noka report for the 700 million lek villa? I don't know the real figure, but it needs to be investigated and verified. There needs to be a thorough investigation into the assets of the officials. But I think that SPAK should not be subjected to criticism and pressure. I have claims regarding the austerity measures ," said Petraj.
Petraj also provided information about the possible release of the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.
" There is a possibility of Ilir Meta's release in the Supreme Court, a request has been submitted and a decision is expected. There is a possibility that he will be released from prison. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the investigation by the group of agents continues with the verification of the property investigation ," he said on "Report TV".
