He said that in 2007, investigations into the Durrës-Kukës road affair began, and then the file was transferred to the General Prosecutor's Office, which at the time was headed by Ina Rama. " I had the file on the Durrës-Kukës road in my hands in 2007. The way cases were handled back then was such that if a minister or senior official was found to be involved, the General Prosecutor's Office had initial jurisdiction. Lulzim Basha, who was Minister of Transport, was referred to the General Prosecutor's Office for jurisdiction, as a ministerial rank. For a time, it was very large. Unfortunately, this file was destroyed, or it was removed from the deadline by the former General Prosecutor Ina Rama and the case was dismissed. It is a fact, if you search for it on the internet. It is the decision of the Supreme Court that the General Prosecutor's Office removed the file from the deadline ," he said.
According to the KLSH report, 230 million euros were stolen on the Durrës-Kukës road.
