Edi Rama calls him "a fool and an empty-headed person", but he has given Bledjon Nallbat 50 hectares of land and a concession for solar energy...
On Saturday evening, the DP MP and Korça closed list candidate for Devolli, Bledjon Nallbati, along with his brother and companions, were involved in an act of physical violence against a truck driver in Bilisht.
The Democratic MP justified the act of violence as a "moment of anger", claiming that the truck driver had blocked his road and endangered his life on the orders of Socialist Minister Niko Peleshi. This version was also supported by Sali Berisha during the electoral campaign.
But on the other hand, Prime Minister Edi Rama also took advantage of this event at Monday's electoral rally with the residents of Devoll, where he said that "Devoll, which had as its MP the pride of the nation, Dritëro Agolli, today has as its MP a tar, a kind of Nallbat, a shame of Devoll, an aggressive dwarf, a cucumber and an empty-headed person."
In fact, this "shame of Devolli" as Rama called him, turns out to be a businessman who has received 50 hectares of state land in the Bitinckë-Tren area from the prime minister himself, for the construction of a photovoltaic energy park.
According to official documents of the National Business Center, the National Council of Territory and the Territory Development Agency, where Edi Rama is the chairman, DP MP Bledjon Nallbati, through the company "Sun Beat System Sh.pk", has received a concession for the construction of the park with a 35-year term and an investment of 10 million Euros.
MP Nallbati owns 36% of the shares of this concession, registered in the name of his father, Tomor Nallbati, and is a direct beneficiary of the profits from the sale of energy.
In fact, by order of Rama, the Energy Regulatory Authority on July 21, 2022, granted a license to the Nallbat concession for the production and sale of electricity until 2047. The irony reaches its peak when the prime minister himself, on March 1, 2025, pompously promoted the Nallbat energy park through a special video, which he calls "a fool's errand" today in the campaign.
This case is another piece of evidence that confirms the political theater between the leaders of the SP and the DP, who in public attack each other with serious insults, while behind the scenes they share assets, tenders and concessions worth millions of euros./ Pamphlet
