Xhevahir Gezdari is brought as an example, whose mother says that since 1995 she continues to put his plate on the table. The loss of the child is a typical case when the foreign company that was located in the village of Tagan was investigated and then left.

Vera Gezdari: On April 5, 1995.
Anila Hoxha: What do you remember from that day? What class was the boy in?
Vera Gezdari: In third grade. Chuni left at 10 o'clock. This girl (Javie, Xhevair's sister) came from school and said "where is Xhevair?", because he had this date of birth. I told him ``O Xhevair, come quickly, Havia is coming too...'' ``yes, yes, mom, I will come''. At 15:00 (3 o'clock in the afternoon) that teacher dropped them off and did not come, did not return that day.
Anila Hoxha: What did you suspect as a family?
Vera Gezdari: God, they have searched everywhere, but I don't know. Hafuzi (husband) went, this Havi also went, they went to Tirana, they talked where I know.
Anila Hoxha: Did you go to the police the next day? What were you hoping for as a mother while you were expecting?
Vera Gezdari: I hoped he would come, not that he would leave. That we believed. We didn't care if someone took our child.
Anila Hoxha: Were there witnesses? What did the residents show?
Vera Gezdari: They didn't say a word, they didn't say anything.
Anila Hoxha: Who last saw Xhevair?
Vera Gezdari: These teachers said "let's go inside." It fell down because it is a bank. It fell down".
Vera Gezdari: I don't know, did he go to school? They said that he did not come, he did not arrive there.
Anila Hoxha: Do you think Xhevairi is alive?
Vera Gezdari: I believe in God. Not from humans. Inshallah to God it is good.

Anila Hoxha: I pyetët banorët, i pyetët mësuesit?
Vera Gezdari: Ne i pyetëm mësuesit .
Anila Hoxha: E ke parë ndonjëherë në ëndërr djalin?
Anila Hoxha: Që kur është zhdukur?
Vera Gezdari: Jo jo, asnjëherë. Se nuk më del sesi qaj dhe nuk del. Fëmijë se nuk i ka shkuar…

Anila Hoxha: Prej sa vitesh e ndoqe këtë ritual, që vendosje pjatën, lugën e tij?
Vera Gezdari: Deri tani.Vazhdoj prapë po ashtu.
Vera Gezdari: Vazhdoj inshallah hapet porta të vijë.
Anila Hoxha: Kur shtron bukën vendos edhe pjatë për Xhevairin akoma?
Vera Gezdari: Po, për Zotin ia vendos m’u aty. Inshallah të vijë do Zoti të vijë. Se jemi me brenga mjerë ku i bie kjo.
