As in many other cases, even today Edi Rama was caught lying after journalists asked him about Ilir Beqaj's new affair.
Embarrassed by the joke he once told about the connection between a person's height and theft, Rama told journalist Osman Stafa that Ilir Beqaj is not under investigation for corruption, but for abuse of office.
This is untrue because in the file provided by Lapsi.al, his former basketball player friend is being investigated for corruption. More specifically, there are 3 criminal charges, as can be seen in the facsimile brought by Lapsi.al.
