The three important directors in the Municipality of Tirana have just landed at SPAK, where they will be questioned regarding the tender file with the company "5D".
The two former directors of the Municipality of Tirana, Redi Molla and Mariglen Qato, were arrested by order of SPAK for the affair of the 5D company, which was denounced by the former opposition candidate for the municipality, Belind Kelliçi.
The list of arrest warrants includes Taulant Tusha, the former director previously arrested for Tirana's incinerator, along with 5 other municipal officials and a businessman.
According to SPAK's announcement, the directors of the municipality owned the company 5D, which has changed its name several times and through manipulation won the tenders of the institutions that they managed. According to SPAK, the manipulation of the tendering procedures was done through the cooperation of the directors and other employees, changing the criteria in the tenders that benefited them.
It must be said that the arrested senior officials are known as some of the closest associates of the mayor Erion Veliaj.
