Just one day after the arrest of Ymer Mark, the former head of the municipality of Bërxulle, the Tirana prosecutor's office has launched a property investigation against the former official of the Democratic Party, who ran in the last local elections and for the post of the mayor of Vorë.
The key to the property investigation has started since, in parallel with the "Abuse of duty", an investigation has also been started for "Cleaning the proceeds of the criminal offense".
The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has raised strong suspicions that Ymer Marku has hidden the wealth created illegally, transferring it to second and third names, such as his brothers and nephews.
Among the assets that prosecutors believe belongs to Ymer Mark, is the "King" resort located in the Bëxulla area.
It is learned that the two former mayors, Kujtim Ballliu and Agim Loci, will not escape the property investigation.
The alienation of 7,500 square meters of land is not the first case of abuse in this area.
The investigation is expected to expand to other areas of land, which were alienated by the officials of the Bërxulë municipality and then sold to the company "Alko Impeks" managed by Arbër Abazi, the grandson of the SP deputy, Sadri Abazi.
It is learned that currently in the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana there are 5 criminal proceedings for the alienation of properties in the former Bërxulle Municipality.
Arbër Abazi, who has received tens of millions of euros in customer tenders, is becoming the new feudal lord of properties in Bërxulë, one of the most strategic areas for business between Tirana, Vora and Rinas.

In just one case, Abazi became the owner of 10,000 m2 of land near the main road, the former municipality of Bëxulle.
The land was bought by a citizen from Kukësi, Tahir and Fidarie Cena, who is not known how he benefited since he is not part of the autochthonous residents, who demand the return of the properties they have inherited from generation to generation.
The value in the sales contract is only 43 million old lek, a transaction that may be fictitious. On the land that is suspected to be part of a robbery and corruption scheme, Arbër Abazi is building silos for business.
The constructions have been strongly opposed by the residents of the area, who claim that Arbër Abazi and officials of the former municipality of Bërxulë and other businessmen have robbed them of their lands. / Ora News
