On the 105th anniversary of the birth of Rrahman Parllaku, former general, partisan in the anti-fascist war, hero and commander, but also convicted under communism, parts of his conviction file by the communist regime are published.

The Authority for Information on the Documents of the former State Security 1944-1991 has today published part of the file with 9277 pages, some facts about his conviction and surveillance,

According to the biography prepared by the former State Security, citizen Rahman Parllaku, born in 1918, born in the village of Novosej in Kukës, his family was interned in the district of Durrës, comes from a poor peasant class, excluded from the party and sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment "...for counter-revolutionary organization and conspiratorial anti-party activity", with a higher military education.

On 14.12.1974, as a senior soldier, he was taken into active processing 2A "for conspiratorial activity" by the Security Branch of the Army. From his elaboration it appears that: "..the object during the time, under the direction of the enemy Beqir Balluku and in cooperation with other persons, has developed hostile activities against the political line of the party in the army. He took an active part in the processing of hostile material with the thesis of the Defense Council. With the operation he had in the army, he tried to distribute this material and get it approved."

During the time he was serving his sentence in Ward 321 Burrel, "his attitude was not good, he developed hostile activity in the form of agitation and propaganda, opposing the party's political line".

In the form file no. 3210, consisting of 372 pages, the documents are built on the basis of the surveillance of the citizen Rrahman Parllaku, in the premises of the Burrel prison, carried out by the TO. So it was done differently with other citizens who in most cases are pursued before their arrest.

It has also been documented that the citizen Rahman Parllaku was intercepted as a convict together with other imprisoned citizens such as "Kiço Ngjela, Lipe Nashi etc", in the prison of Burrel.

The interception with TO continues among "anti-party convicts such as Gjergj Titani, Bardhyl Belishova, Maqo Çomo, Fadil Paçrami, Rahman Parllaku, Kiço Ngjela, etc.". the conversations conducted by "anti-party convicts Kiço Ngjela, Rahman Parllaku, Spartak Ngjela" were mostly intercepted.

Among the documents, the archive also recorded Investigative - Judicial File No. 12739, which is composed of a total of 9277 scanned pages in digital form. This file contains documents about the trial against citizen Rahman Parllaku, etc. where he was sentenced to 16 years and three months in prison (from December 1974 to March 17, 1991.

Rrahman Përllaku from 1943 to 1973 held high positions in the military forces during the National-Liberation war and after the war the position of Deputy Minister for Military Preparation of the Army. Enjoyed the title "Hero of the People", decorated with 9 orders, three war medals and 3 military service orders. Parllaku was also the deputy of Kukes in the People's Assembly for 7 consecutive legislatures, from 1945 to 1973.

The Court of Cassation decided, on July 20, 1994, to annul the decision of November 5, 1975 of the Military Court, which found the senior military officers guilty, and to dismiss the charges.
