A 22-year-old man was placed in police custody, after doses of cannabis ready for sale, 35,200 alleks and 270 euros, were found in his car, suspected to be proceeds from the sale of narcotic drugs.
"Finalized by the Narcotics Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, the police operation coded "Toën".
During the operation, citizen K. Xh., 22 years old, resident of Durrës, was arrested in the act.
Based on the information provided through police intelligence, the Police services, during the operation, have stopped the vehicle in which the 22-year-old was driving in the city of Durrës. During the control, dozens of doses of cannabis ready for sale, 35,200 ALL and 270 euros, suspected to have benefited from the sale of doses of cannabis, were found in the vehicle, which were seized as material evidence, together with 4 mobile phones and the vehicle.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", the police informs.
