Former prosecutor Ervin Karanxha stated that the country is facing a reality where justice is not functioning properly, while emphasizing that the Special Prosecution Office has not investigated senior officials.
He stated that many cases have been left pending for decades and risk being dragged out even further, describing the new justice system as a failure in shedding light on important events. Karanxha also touched on the "January 21" case, for which he requested that SPAK clearly define the role of each party, while also mentioning allegations of illegal influence in investigative processes.
According to him, the way these files have been handled has negatively impacted public trust in the justice system.
