The analyst, Mentor Nazarko, has commented on the result of the parliamentary elections in Montenegro, where the 'Europe Now' party led by securing 24 mandates.
According to the analyst, this party is in danger of splitting up due to a scandal of the president Milojko Spajic.
"The release of this scandal a few days before the vote has certainly reduced the party from 30 percent to 25 percent. And this finger-pointing at Spajic creates opportunities for a split in the party. The Montenegrin media talk about a rivalry between him and President Milatovic, and the possibility that the latter will tell the parliamentary group that you have to choose between me and Spajic, who has legal problems, is a real possibility. So a reorientation of this party is expected either in a coalition with Ura or with Djukanovic's party," said Nazarko, to "News Line".
Asked about the possibility of Dritan Abazovic to be prime minister again, Nazarko emphasized that this is an unavoidable scenario.
"It is a scenario that may have limited probability, but it is not excluded. The technology of creating coalitions must be understood. If the Europe Now party avoids the coalition with the Serbian Front, then the possibilities for coalitions are with Abazovic's party and with the minority parties or to form a coalition with Djukanovic's party", said the analyst.
Nazarko emphasized that the fact that 6 Albanian deputies enter the new parliament does not mean that there can be an increase in the representation of Albanians. He added that the Albanian parties must cooperate with each other to be a key factor.
"I think that this increase in them will not necessarily bring an increase in the representation of the interests of Albanians, with the exception of the party of the mayor of Tuzi, Nik Gjeloshaj, who had a significant increase in two deputies and is a politician who has concrete balance in the advancement of Albanian interests. Other politicians who have been special deputies or deputies of Milo or in coalition with him, do not have a significant balance. It must be admitted that the Rama government did not influence these elections as it should have. Four years ago he called to vote for Djukanovic, in this election he did not call to vote for the Albanian parties or Abazovic.
However, the division of the Albanians, their individual game, has not brought an advancement of interests. Ulcinj is the richest municipality, but it has known the highest emigration. I am saying that if Albania had a more pro-active role, pushing the Albanian parties to cooperate with Abazovic, the possibility that Abazovic will be a determining factor is high. When the Albanian sailors boarded a bigger ship than the small one they had, then they advanced their interests as happened in the Abazovic government with the holding of the flag, symbols, with greater investments in Ulcinj and Tuz. If Albania will be more proactive, they have the opportunity to cooperate and board not the ship of ethnic parties but of civic parties like that of Mr. Abazovic", concluded Nazarko.
