"They left him with serums for 7 hours", journalist accuses QSUT for

Journalist Osman Stafa, invited to a television studio, raised questions about the death of a 12-year-old from Korça, accusing him of negligence and misdiagnosis in medical treatment.

According to the journalist, the child, who had symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, did not receive proper treatment either at the Korça Hospital or at the QSUT, where he eventually died. He stressed that doctors used mild antibiotics and left the little one on serums for seven hours, without more advanced interventions.

The staff demanded that the QSUT prove the claim that the death occurred as a result of acute myocarditis and called on the Prosecutor's Office and the Police to launch investigations into the incident. He stressed that this tragedy is a consequence of medical negligence and should serve as an alarm for the health system.

" We have a child who has had vomiting and diarrhea. He went to Korça Hospital and then came to Tirana. There is negligence, there is a wrong diagnosis, there are weak antibiotics. There is no proper treatment for the 12-year-old. The doctors who did not act properly must be held responsible."

They left the boy for 7 hours with serums. The QSUT must prove that he died from acute myocarditis. This situation should alarm everyone. The prosecution and the police should investigate. They should investigate, because this boy passed away due to negligence , "said Stafa.
