The High Inspectorate of Justice requests 2 punitive measures against the Chief Prosecutor of Saranda, Kledian Llaho.
During the inspection, the ILD found serious violations, where Llaho also favored his father-in-law.
The first measure requested was a 40% salary reduction, while the second measure requested after the other violation found was removal from the management of the institution.
This is a different proceeding, different from the one that took place a week earlier, where the magistrate acted as prosecutor.
"In this second proceeding, submitted by the ILD to the KLP on December 30, 2024, Llaho is in the capacity of the head of the Prosecution Office, for another disciplinary violation, which has to do with failure to fulfill, in the capacity of the head, the obligations set forth in the law as well as repeated violations of the rules of conduct in relations with other magistrates," an official response states, but without providing details on the matter.
SPAK had also suspended him from duty earlier, after he failed to implement decisions for in-depth investigations.
