The Beleri, Spahiu case: Rama would withdraw if the US asked him to, not because of Greek pressure

Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said that Prime Minister Edi Rama will withdraw from the decision that was taken on the Beleri case only if the USA asks for it and not because of Greek pressure.

In an interview for the show "Now" on "Euronews Albania", he added that Rama would compromise even if Scholz and Macron asked him to.

" The issue is who will withdraw, Greece or Albania? I think Greece will go all the way. On the other hand, I am convinced that Albania and Edi Rama will not withdraw from Greek pressure, but will withdraw only in one case, so here the circumstances of 95' change with 2023. Edi Rama will withdraw only if Washington, Brussels, Berlin or Paris ask political leaders to tell him to withdraw and find a compromise on the Beleri case. So if Macron, Scholz, the European Commission or Blinken ask Edi Rama to find a solution for Beleri, then I think that Rama will withdraw and find a compromise ", said Spahiu.
