Analyst Genc Burimi has commented on Ilir Meta's attacks on the head of SPAK, Altin Duman.
The source emphasized that the way Meta acted was a serious form, but that the content of his messages was in order.
According to him, the internationals, just as they react after Meta's statements, should also react to the rampant corruption in Albania. The analyst adds that it is not normal that the government does not have mechanisms to stop massive corruption.
"Meta's attacks were serious in form, but not in content. Justice can be criticized. It is not normal that this prime minister, who leads a country that seeks to integrate into the EU, has this corruption. You can't insult justice like that, but you can criticize it. Justice in Albania is captured. It is not normal that the government of Albania does not have mechanisms to stop major corruption in the country. Internationals react immediately to Meta, but they also react to corruption. Criticizing corruption is not interference with justice.
The Westerners have no intention of weakening Edi Rama, this is geopolitics. The leader of Reestablishment has said that he does not enter the elections with Rama, because he does not trust him, so he wants a technical government. It is a loss of faith in Rama, that whatever you want to do, he finds a way to steal the elections. Either this is the solution or they have to come to Albania with thousands of foreign observers", said Burimi for "News 24".
