The well-known analyst, Frrok Çupi, has commented on the political situation in the country.
During an interview for "SOT" newspaper, first Mr. Çupi tells what is behind the protest of the Reestablishment of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta's Freedom Party in front of the Municipality of Tirana. The analyst emphasizes that the Democratic Party, referring to the time when it was led by Berisha, started the work to burn the country at the end of 1990. According to him, the Democratic Party was born and grew with the sole objective: 'Burn, destroy, demolish, eliminate!'.
Meanwhile, during the interview, Çupi gives details of the great event that has never happened before in Albania, while revealing that SPAK is connecting and taking the looted property of two presidents and two prime ministers.
-Mr. Çupi, the five protests in front of the Municipality of Tirana for the "head" of Erion Veliaj, called by Rithemelimi and the Freedom Party, but whose police permit is taken by the Theater Alliance, have degenerated into violence. How do you see this situation? As we are before the general elections, do you think that the key priority of the opposition is the Municipality of Tirana?
Çupi: Why did they attack the City Hall to burn it down?', is the question. There are no surprises in between. The Democratic Party would be a wonder if it did not burn and destroy; sometimes the Municipality, sometimes the city, sometimes the Parliament, sometimes the school and sometimes the vineyards. The Democratic Party has started the work to burn the country since the end of 1990. It was born and grew with the only objective: 'Burn, destroy, demolish, eliminate!' The 'deed' of the Democratic Party against the interests of the country, in the destruction of industrial and agro-cultural economic values, in education and culture, in national value and everything, is already known. About 5,000 large and small industrial works have been counted, which were destroyed by order of the leadership of the Democratic Party. In 1993, the official DP newspaper wrote enthusiastically that '700 schools were destroyed'. Their mask was 'the fight against communism'. How long has Berisha and his DP taken a breath, how long has he worked to burn and destroy the values of Albania... You now ask why they want to burn the Municipality of Tirana?
- How do you see the increased political attacks against SPAK head Altin Dumani? Why are they afraid of the new justice, when if they claim to be clean, the investigations of the prosecutors cannot bring anything out?
Çupi: Can you tell me one of the most terrible mobsters in the world who has not gone to jail cursing the prosecutor and the judge. Even worse happened: They killed both the prosecutor and the judge. The fight against organized crime is not easy; they also have a lot of money and criminals with them. Meta, together with those you know, are 'dying', that is, before the cell. They have committed terrible acts against man and against the country. And what do we expect Saliu and Iliri to be different from who they are? We are in the time of an event that has never happened before, not even for other great nations. It is happening that Albania is tying up and taking the property stolen from two presidents and two prime ministers... Where did this big thing happen?
-How do you comment on the positions of the Democratic Party? Do you think that Jorida Tabaku or Gazment Bardhi can take the seat from Lulzim Basha?
Çupi: DP's positions are very good, little by little it is disintegrating. The Democratic Party could not live in a citizenry that does not belong to it. PD had its own atmosphere, with wild people, thieves, murderers, who survive in the mud and feel good. There are no more of these citizens. The citizens now do not ask for weapons from Saliu or from Iliri, nor do they ask for gunpowder, nor do they ask for others to be stolen. This time spent together with the Democratic Party committed terrible acts against the country. How can it be 'refounded', or remade? DP has the enemy of the people. It is happening very naturally that it is being broken into small parts, and finally forgotten. The bad is forgotten./Gazeta Sot
