The Minister of Foreign Affairs has informed that the first five Albanians have been evacuated from Gaza and that it is a matter of a mother together with her four children.
In a reaction on platform X, Foreign Minister Igli Hasani announced that they are currently in Egypt, and that the procedures for their return to Albania are being carried out.
" After three weeks of efforts and difficulties, finally the first Albanian citizens, a mother and her 4 minor children, just left the territory of Gaza. They are now safe in Egypt, while we follow the procedures for their return to Albania as soon as possible.
Gratitude to the authorities of Israel and Egypt for the cooperation, for the support as well as to the colleagues of the Albanian embassies in Israel and Egypt for the good work in this situation and complex operation.
We are working closely with the authorities for the quick and safe return of other Albanian citizens who are in Gaza" , writes Igli Hasani on the X platform.
