After the Bank of Albania revoked the license of two financial entities, following the microcredit scandal, it made a notification to the clients of these entities.
The bank clarifies that customers who have complaints or specific requests for their loans in these institutions can address the Bank of Albania to the public e-mail.
While it is emphasized that there is still no decision on what will be done with the portfolio of these loans, where at the moment only complaints are handled.
"With the revocation of the license of these two SFJBs on 23.5.2024, the Bank of Albania has already allocated its employees to the premises of these entities. In the event that customers have specific complaints or requests related to the obligations to these two entities, or to the way it will be operated further, they can submit them in writing to the employees of the Bank of Albania in the country, or directly to the Bank of Albania via [email protected] and these complaints/requests will be reviewed and addressed in each case. In the meantime, the Bank of Albania is carrying out the necessary verifications and as soon as the relevant details are clarified, it will carry out all the appropriate communications, as was also emphasized in the press release we published on 23.5.2024", the announcement of the Bank of Albania states. .
