Florian Sulejmani will be the new head of the Police Supervision Agency, replacing Ardi Veliu. The presentation was made by the Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla. Sulejmani was elected after an open candidacy process.

Nuk dua ta harroni për asnjë moment se roli i AMP është jetik. Veshi i shurdhër dhe syri qorr, heshtja bashkëfajtore me të fortët e lagjes dhe mosreagimi i forcave të rendit ndaj denoncimeve të qytetarëve, janë rreshtim i policisë kundër tyre, kundër shtetit.
Jeni ju ata që duhet të hetoni çdo rast mosveprimi nga Policia. Rasti i Vlorës kur një vajzë e re viktimë e dhunës seksuale, apo ai I kopshtit në Tiranë, janë shembujt e këqij të veprimit të vonuar dhe standardit që tashmë është vendosur.

Ju takon ju të verifikoni çdo rast, derisa të mos guxojë më askush brenda policisë të mbajë anën e dhunuesve duke mos regjistruar kallëzimin dhe duke mos marrë menjëherë në mbrojtje viktimën.

Agjencia e Mbikëqyrjes Policore duhet të fitojë në terren - me rezultate konkrete në luftën kundër korrupsionit, abuzivizmit, bashkëjetesës me krimin - besimin e publikut dhe partnerëve tanë, kjo edhe falë bashkëveprimit në rritje me agjencitë e tjera ligjzbatuese, në mënyrë të veçante me SHISH dhe SPAK.
Komunikimet në aplikacionet e koduara që implikojnë oficerë të Policisë së Shtetit janë dëshmi e qartë e nevojës për një punë intensive e pa kompromis të AMP-së, për të luftuar krimin dhe paligjshmërinë brenda radhëve të Policisë së Shtetit,
dhe për t’i dhënë dinjitetin dhe respektin e merituar në shoqëri kësaj organizate, që ka në gjirin e saj qindra e mijëra të rinj e të reja që punojnë me dedikim, pasion e profesionalizëm krah qytetarëve.
Sa i përket fenomenit të aplikacioneve të koduara, kam kërkuar që verifikimi i përdorimit të këtyre aplikacioneve nga punonjësit e policisë të jetë pjesë e formularit të vetë-deklarimit të kryer nga çdo punonjës e që, në rast deklarimi të rremë, do të pas-sjellë përjashtimin përfundimtar të tij nga radhët e policisë.
Vettingu i drejtuesve të Policisë është po ashtu një proces i rëndësishëm që duhet të ecë me ritme të shpejta, në përmbushje të pritshmërive të publikut për institucione me integritet të lartë në shërbim të qytetarëve.
Procesi i vettingut duhet të jetë një tregues i pastrimit të Policisë, proces i cili do të ndikojë ndjeshëm në rritjen e besimit të qytetarëve tek Policia e Shtetit, por mos e harroni asnjëherë është një kusht i madh që AMP duhet të përmbushë për seriozitetin, paanshmërinë në drejtim të kryerjes të këtij procesi kaq të rëndësishëm.
Kush nuk tërhiqet nga procesi i vettingut, nuk ka më vend në asnjë karrige në Policinë e Shtetit.

Mr. Sulejmani has a long work experience of 18 years.
He has successfully passed the transitional assessment process, as a necessary condition for this leadership position, and has extensive experience and knowledge on the Police vetting process.
