The immigrants who came to spend the end of the year holidays in Albania have decided to return to the countries where they live.
It is learned that there was a high number of travelers at the port of Durrës and the Kapshtica and Kakavijë customs.
In the Port of Durrës, the ferries left today for the double, round-trip sailings within the day to Bari and Ancona. It is reported that the flow of travelers is being managed. While the emigrants who are leaving after the holidays are positive about the prices and the festive atmosphere in Albania.
"We had a great time, now we're leaving. The atmosphere in Tirana is very pleasant. There is no line, everything is very good", said a traveler.
22 operational counters have been opened in the terminal available to passengers and vehicles. Double ferry sailings will operate from 4 to 7 January. Meanwhile, the application of additional measures has been carried out, mainly in the security and service parameters.
While in Kapshtica, during the last 24 hours, 5800 citizens have crossed to Greece. The authorities have worked with 3 counters at the exit and three at the entrance. Waiting for vehicles does not last more than 5 minutes.
Even in Kakavija, the flow is being managed by the Greek and Albanian authorities without creating queues. During the last 24 hours, 4146 Albanian citizens left Kakavija and 2333 people entered.
