USAID funds, why didn't Trump mention Albania and Kosovo in his speech?

But if we refer to the way in which various issues are interpreted in Albania, from photos of handshakes to messages, perhaps this too can be interpreted as a refutation of Berisha's thesis, or a refutation of all the propaganda raised for the new justice system with the aim of attacking the opposition.

President Donald Trump delivered a speech to the US Congress, where he, among other things, mentioned some of the findings of DOGE, led by Elon Musk, regarding the abuse of funds or donations provided by the United States in various countries.

Trump mentioned a series of countries where millions of American taxpayer dollars have been 'thrown' away through projects that have been considered violations or abuses of funds. And the series of countries mentioned did not include either Albania or Kosovo, while Serbia and Moldova were highlighted.

Albania, according to a publication by Richard Grenell, has benefited from 189 million dollars from USAID funds, while Kosovo has benefited from 537 million dollars. In the case of Albania, at least 9 million dollars were used for justice reform and, according to the accusations made by the democratic leader, Sali Berisha, this money was used to build a justice system controlled by Soros to crack down on oppositionism and conservatism in Albania. This has even become a headline for months, so much so that a few days ago it was mentioned in a hearing in the US Congress, by one of the American investigative journalists who gave his testimony.

But Trump, who during his speech spoke, among other things, about the $14 million used in Serbia for the public prosecution process, did not mention either Albania or Kosovo.

It is not known whether, by the time of Trump's speech, DOGE, led by Musk, had audited the funds for Albania and Kosovo, which could be a reason why the two countries are not mentioned, or whether they are still out of the American President's attention.

But if we refer to the way in which various issues are interpreted in Albania, from photos of handshakes to messages, perhaps this too can be interpreted as a refutation of Berisha's thesis, or a refutation of all the propaganda raised for the new justice system with the aim of attacking the opposition.

During his speech, Trump focused on Moldova, for which he said that $32 million was used for a left-wing propaganda operation. And referring to this moment and the theses that have been strongly raised by the Berisha-led opposition, that funds were used to favor the left wing or to attack the opposition, if there were evidence, they could take up some space in the US President's speech.

Here's what Trump mentioned to Congress

Thank you, Elon. He's working hard. Thank you very much, we appreciate it. Everyone here – even this side of the room, I think – appreciates it. They just don't want to admit it.

Just listen to some of the shocking abuses we've uncovered so far:

$22 billion from the Department of Health and Human Services to provide free housing and cars to illegal immigrants.

$45 million for diversity, equity, and inclusion scholarships in Burma.

$40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants. No one knows what that means.

$8 million to promote LGBTQI+ in the African nation of Lesotho, which no one has ever heard of.

$60 million for the empowerment of indigenous and Afro-Caribbean populations in Central America. $60 million.

$8 million to make transgender mice – that's true.

$32 million for a left-wing propaganda operation in Moldova.

$10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique.

$20 million for the Arabic version of "Sesame Street" in the Middle East. $20 million for one program.

$1.9 billion for a new committee to decarbonize homes, led by – and we know who’s involved – at the last minute the money was passed to a woman named Stacey Abrams. Have you ever heard of her?

$3.5 million for a consulting contract for luxury fish monitoring.

$1.5 million for voter confidence in Liberia.

$14 million for social cohesion in Mali.

$59 million for hotel rooms for illegal immigrants in New York City. A real estate businessman is behind this, he made a lot of money.

$250,000 to scale up local vegan climate innovation in Zambia.

$42 million for social and behavioral change in Uganda.

$14 million to improve public procurement in Serbia. /Pamphlet/
