The bad weather in our country has caused significant damage in several cities.
The old neighborhood "Muradie", recently reconstructed as part of the "Historic Old Vlora" project, has been completely closed due to fears of flooding.
The intense rainfall of recent days has added to the panic among businesses, which are located in one of the most frequented areas of the city.
Dozens of shops and bars have lowered their shutters, while administrators have taken action to protect their premises. To avoid water from entering, they have used everything possible: foam insulation, insulating materials around doors and placing sandbags at the entrance as a protective measure against possible flooding.
Businesses say this is the only way to prevent damage, while they anxiously await developments in the coming hours.
