After the elections, numerous transfers and moves were made in the capital's police force, where several crime bosses were replaced.
The chief of crimes of police station no. 5 has been transferred to Vora, while the chief of crimes of Vora has been transferred to police station no. 5.
The chief of crimes at police station no. 1 has also been changed, with the person who held this position being transferred to the Tirana traffic police station in the accident sector.
There have been numerous changes in the Tirana traffic police, where around 20 line and traffic officers have been transferred, as well as 4 traffic and line commanders, including the head of urban traffic in Tirana, Jetnor Shira, who has been replaced by Megian Ademaj.
Several judicial police officers (OPGJ) have also been transferred to the Tirana traffic police. The reasons and motivations for the numerous changes in the capital's police are still unknown.
We recall that 7 months ago, radical changes were made in the police, where 12 new police leaders in the regions and 48 chiefs of police stations were elected, but the competition for department directors is still pending, even though according to the new State Police law, a competition must also be held to elect new department leaders.
