Dritan Dajti continues to seek freedom from the cell. Today, a hearing was held in his charge at the Court of Elbasan, where Dajti was present through a video conference. But the session was postponed, after Dritan Dajti's request to file his evidence before the court and to consider the evidence already filed by the prosecution.

Referring to Article 471 in Article 4, it is said that the hearing takes place in the presence of the applicant. I am not part of this judicial process and in a second moment the prosecutor can call this hearing invalid. Does the prosecutor agree that this session is valid?
The court took into account the order of the General Directorate of Prisons even though this institution is not a party to this process. The law provides for the participation of the defense party, the prosecutor and the interested party (ie me). If you do not accept me in court, in the future the prosecutor has the right to declare the process invalid. I request the opinion of the declared prosecutor. Does the prosecutor accept this way of trial that you decided, without my presence?

In a letter sent to the director of Peqin Prison, Dajti claims that he has completed his 25-year sentence.
Dajti asked to be present in court, but the Directorate of Prisons has refused to accompany him for the second day in a row, as there are doubts and information that Dritan Dajti may escape.
For this reason, today's session in the court of Elbasan was conducted by video conference from the premises of the Peqin prison.
Meanwhile, his lawyer has stated that Dajti's lack of physical presence at the hearing is not normal, as there are currently 3,800 prison officers and 6,000 law enforcement officers in Albania.
A few days ago, the Supreme Court decided to return Dritan Dajti to life imprisonment, who had earlier benefited from a shortened trial by being sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of 4 police officers.
