The Special Prosecutor's Office closed the investigations into the privatization file of the former Partizani complex, where former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi and 3 other people are accused.
Invited to the show "Real Story" on ABC News, analyst Arben Meçe commented on the statements of former Prime Minister Berisha, while emphasizing that he should not confuse the moral concept with the legal one.
" Berisha should no longer appear in shows because every time he appears, he almost gives evidence. Today Berisha has given not one but several proofs. At the root of all Berisha's reaction was family solidarity. Officially, we have always seen Berisha in Lalez, and the agreement was made in Lalez. So nothing separated Berisha from the properties of his oyster, despite the registration. In our criminal code, we have seen dozens of confiscation of the property of criminals from their family members. If we are going to enter the law, the provision is clear, when the property investigation begins, since there are children... All are summed up in one basket and family solidarity is a moral concept but not a legal one. And if a property is the product of a criminal act, it implicates you. The issue is purely legal ", said Meçe.
