The Fier Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigations and sent the file for trial against three people, as perpetrators of the murder and robbery of the elderly Caush Shehaj, in November 2022.
The perpetrators, Musa Gudo, Ervis Halimi and another with the initials F.Ç, are accused of "Theft resulting in death" committed in collaboration and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."
The Prosecution's investigations prove that on November 19, 2022, at around 02:00, these citizens robbed the apartment of 89-year-old Çaush Shehaj at gunpoint, whom they also physically raped. As a result of the wounds received on the face and body, the elderly man died.
The perpetrators also inflicted serious bodily injuries on the 89-year-old man's wife. Blood stains found in the apartment, as well as the breaking of doors and furniture, were evidence of the force used by the perpetrators.
The serious event of two years ago shocked the residents of the village of Klos in Mallakastër.

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier completed the investigations and sent the three defendants, citizens MG, EH and F.Ç., to trial for the criminal offenses of "Theft resulting in death" committed in collaboration, provided for by Article 141 of the Criminal Code and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" provided for by Article 278 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
From the investigations conducted in cooperation with the Local Police Directorate within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1394/2022, it was possible to prove that, on 19.11.2022, at around 02:00, in the village of Klos, Mallakastër Municipality, citizens MG, EH, F.Ç. in collaboration with each other, robbed the apartment of citizen C. Sh. at gunpoint, whom they also physically raped. As a result of the wounds received on the face and body, citizen C. Sh. died.
At the conclusion of the investigations, the prosecution has also drafted a request to send the case to court against the defendants MG, EH, F.Ç. for the criminal offense of “Theft resulting in death” committed in collaboration, provided for by Article 141 of the Criminal Code and “Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition” provided for by Article 278 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
In the following, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier expresses its full commitment and the legal responsibility of persons who commit criminal offenses against the health of the person and their property.
