Politicians' salaries always arouse interest. This time, many media outlets have focused on the salaries of Balkan presidents.
Referring to official data from the cabinets of the presidents of the countries of the Balkan region and other public data, the lowest salary is received by the President of Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, around 1,500 euros, while the highest is received by the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj - 3,860 euros, at least that is what some media outlets in Kosovo report.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has a salary of 2,700 euros.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has a salary of around 1,800 euros per month, while Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev receives 3,000 euros.
Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović has a salary of 2,420 euros.
The President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, receives a salary of 3,587.79 euros.
Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Željka Cvijanović, Denis Beqirović and Željko Komšić, receive a salary of 2,920 euros, according to data from October 2023.
