Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço, speaking about yesterday's opposition protest and the attacks on the police with homemade bombs, said that according to investigations, the materials are suspected to come from Kosovo.
He said that the groups involved include Albanian minors, but also recently arrested Italian citizens who have admitted that they were paid to throw Molotov cocktails.
"The attacks on the police with homemade bombs are still continuing, they are bombs. They are gasoline bottles with some explosives that we have identified as coming from Kosovo. According to the police, in the group of arsonists there are no longer Albanians, three are Albanians, of these 2 are 15-year-olds, minors from 14-18 years old who it is not known how they were recruited. There are also 3 Italian citizens 24-25 years old, they were arrested yesterday by the police, whose identity is still a secret.
"In their statements, they said they were paid to throw Molotov cocktails. There are people who want to use violence against the police and, since they were arrested a lot last time, they wanted to recruit foreigners ," Karamuço told "Abcnews".
