The well-known hacker group "Homeland Justice" has claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on the Municipality of Tirana, claiming to have disrupted the official website, leaked sensitive data, and wiped out all servers.
In a post published on their Telegram channel, the hackers stated: "All these activities were carried out by the Municipality of Tirana, today they are being punished for their actions. We have crashed their website, taken the data and deleted the servers."
The post is accompanied by images of the official website of the Municipality of Tirana before and after the intervention, where in the "after the attack" version a blank screen appears with a graphic damage effect.
The group has also published a 3D model of the City Hall building with the inscription "yes, you were right", which is interpreted as confirmation of a previously warned attack.
