In this session, former socialist deputy Alqi Blako was defended by two other lawyers today, while he announced that Sokol Hazizaj will no longer be his lawyer.
Lawyers Artan Kodheli and Eduart Sheko claim that at this stage of the trial, when the abbreviated trial has been accepted, there can be no changes to the prosecution and called the action of the prosecutor, an arbitrary action.
Artan Kodheli, lawyer of Alqi Bllakos: "The severity of the accusation against Bllako is illegal and to put pressure on the court at the moment of the final conclusions. The CPC exhaustively regulates the positions that the prosecutor must take. The court has concluded that for Alqi Bllako, there will be abuse of office and active corruption, not as a high state functionary. No prosecution body can change a final decision, especially at this stage of the trial. The KPP categorically forbids such a decision, we are in a summary trial proceeding. There can be no new facts in summary judgment. It is an arbitrary action of the prosecutor. He accuses him of abuse of office by not citing any law and violating 10 legal provisions. The prosecutor abuses his duty by bringing charges of abuse of duty. The general secretary is a high civil function."
Eduart Sheko, the lawyer of Alqi Bllakos: " For 18 months, inquisitorial pursuit of Alqi Bllakos with extra-legal means. The prosecutor has accepted this request for clarification of charges. If he was against it, he should have complained, not let him do it now. This is a treacherous act that is done right at this stage ."
