There will be no new elections in Kamez, the Electoral College overthrows the Berisha-Meta coalition

Today, the Electoral College definitively rejected the claims of the coalition "We win together" for declaring the elections in Kamëz invalid.

With today's decision (June 19, 2023), the College decided to uphold the result of the May 14 election, where Rakip Suli won with a margin of over 12,000 votes over "BF" candidate Arjan Hoxha.

Also, the other demands of the Berisha-Mera coalition, which required foreign experts to examine the operation of electronic equipment, comparing the electronic result with the physical one, as well as the opening of the security cameras installed on the day of the vote, were also rejected.

In Kamëz, Rakip Suli was declared the winner with 23,657, or 60.65% of the votes, while the candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition, Arjan Hoxha, received 13,694 votes or 35.11% of the votes.
