An incident occurred at the Democratic Party headquarters during the opposition protest. According to claims by DP representatives, an unidentified person entered the headquarters premises with a device that is suspected of being used for eavesdropping and operates with Bluetooth.
According to sources from the blue headquarters, a member of the Democratic Party managed to take the device from the person in question, while the latter, before leaving, called someone saying: " They took it from me, they took it from me ."
The incident was also mentioned by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his closing speech at the protest. He stated that an unknown person had attempted to place a device inside the headquarters, implying that it was a listening device.
" An unknown person came and wanted to install a device. We don't know what device it is, but Ilir Proda sent it with Vlora Agaçi ," Berisha said.
To date, there has been no official reaction from the State Police regarding the claims raised by the Democratic Party, while the nature of the device and the identity of the person involved in the incident remain unclear.
