A propaganda video, published on social networks by ISIS , includes among the 60 flags also that of Albania and Kosovo. All these countries are threatened with the inscription that "They are the enemies of the state that must be hit" .
This is an expression that has caused panic about the possibility of being hit by a terrorist attack. The news was published by foreign media, according to which it has increased concerns and warned of the possibility of the return of border controls.
To talk about this, security expert Dritan Goxhaj was invited to an interview for Euronews Albania. He said that vigilance should never be lowered, but added that he does not believe that Albania or Kosovo will face such attacks.
" In our country, I believe that it will not be practiced, since the number of refugees in our country is within the checkpoints, there are no refugees who move uncontrolled. Therefore, I believe that for us and for Kosovo there is no high risk.
Of course, vigilance must be maintained, law enforcement and security agencies must be vigilant all the time, but I do not believe that there will be any attack. Let's not forget, on the 9th of this month, ISIS threatened Spain and England saying that they will attack the stadiums, I believe that the attacks will be concentrated there. Another part is to show that they are active again" , said Dritan Goxhaj.
