Analyst Neritan Sejamini says that the corrupt affair in the Municipality of Tirana should be turned into a case study and studied because it is unique, not only in Albania but also in the world.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Sejamini said that the corruption of power cannot be changed and regulated by justice, but will require political change.
" You don't find anywhere a scheme where the directors and the institutions come together, give the keys to the private person, it is unheard of. In this sense, they are geniuses of theft, they are thieves who have lost their minds, they go and think how they are going to steal, they have perfected the theft.
These should be studied. The municipality of Tirana during the time of Mr. Rama created several case studies in the world, how the city is changed with paints. Even this case of directors should be made a study case, it should be studied in school, to understand how it degrades.
Do you know how they have a public image? Modern clothes, they dress nicely, they talk about urbanism, bicycles, hiking, biking, they create the image of the modern, they dress without collars, perfect... These have stolen for a long time, as much as they entered they stole. How can an employee of the institution start stealing as soon as he starts work. One learns a little about the rules, the documents, the law, the regulations, these are not.
Take the case of incinerators, everything is started by an anonymous person and it becomes this thing. We are in this thing, we have the rot of a system that not only does not fight crime, but crime has seized power. We have criminal organizations within the state itself.
This kind of decay requires political change, this is not solved with SPAK. We have a criminalized state, the whole of Albania is sitting, media, intellectuals, and we have 4-5 prosecutors in SPAK and we expect them to destroy this thing ", said Sejamini.
