Works on the Vorë-Ura e Dajlanit axis have been suspended following the chaos that occurred yesterday with traffic on the Tirana-Durrës highway, where vehicles remained blocked and queued for kilometers for hours.
It is reported that the ARA has held a meeting with the Traffic Police in order to find another way to carry out the works on this axis.
The contract for the works on this axis is 1 month, but the forecasts are that it will be completed within 2 weeks. 1 week of works for one lane and one week for the other lane.
According to "Report TV", asphalt repair interventions can be carried out on a timed basis, or at night. But this will be ultimately decided between the traffic police and the ARRSH, in order to ease traffic.
