Details made public question the figure of the author's mother, a member of the KLP, Nurihan Meta, and her family.
In his statement to the police, Rei Meta said that the conflict was about a bargain for the donation of 1 apartment in Vlora that he would benefit from the work he would do as a realtor for the acquisition of land for construction.
A few hours after the event, the fact that Rei Meta is the son of the member of the High Prosecution Council, Nurihan Meta, became public.
But not only the KLP member, all other members of her family have important positions in the administration.
The husband of KLP member Hazis Meta, a border officer by profession, is Head of the Legal Sector in the General Cadastre, appointed after the woman's election to the High Council of Prosecution.
Their daughter, Rei Meta's sister, Santeliana Meta, until the moment when her mother was appointed a member of the High Council of Prosecution, worked in the Ministry of the Interior together with uncle P. Meta, while from January 1, 2020 onwards she is Chief Sector in the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana.
While the author of the event, Rei Meta, in addition to being a realtor, also officially worked as the Head of the Group of Physical Control Inspectors in the General Directorate of Customs.
