Ilir Meta was arrested today with a special operation. He was taken by force and there have been debates about this method of arrest. But it seems that here we have what is called "karma". 24 years ago, it was Ilir Meta who ordered the arrest by force of his colleague today, Sali Berisha.
How Berisha was arrested
It was November 28, 2000. The day before, Sali Berisha's gangs in Tropoja had launched an armed uprising. The court and the prosecutor's office had burned down. They had terrorized and killed. They disrupted Ilir Meta's rally by means of an anti-rally. Power poles and state buildings were blown up. So, the destabilization of the country and the overthrow of the government was required. Meanwhile, the land was moved to Tirana, near the main institutions of the state. The PD headquarters had turned into a shelter for armed gangs.

But at midnight, the PD headquarters was surrounded by police forces. It was ordered to arrest Sali Berisha and destroy the armed gang, if he resisted. Berisha's Mercedes is stopped and the former president is asked to accompany the police. Berisha refuses, but he is kept in isolation for two hours at the Unknown Soldier.
The order was to take Berisha by force. In this context, his main companion, a guard officer, is forcibly taken out of the car. Around masked sambi soldiers with Kalashnikovs in hand. Then it's his driver's turn. They take him out by force and his place will be taken by the armed sambist. The whole event takes place in about forty minutes, in the early hours of the morning, in the middle of Tirana.
