Analyst Arjan Curri and member of the leadership of PL, Genc Gjokutajt had a debate on the analyst's statements about the possible arrest of Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi.
In the studio of the show "Top Story" on Top Channel, Gjkokutaj asked Curri to be more reserved in the statements he makes about such arrests.
On the other hand, the analyst said that he bears responsibility for his statements, while he expressed his conviction that the statements made by him have influenced the postponement of the arrest of Meta and Kryemadhi.
Excerpts from the debate:
Gjokutaj : You are a legal magnate and you say that on the day you don't say it, they will be arrested. I'm sorry that this is the second time you say untrue things, you say them in the studio and speak in the name of truth. You should not take it upon yourself to talk about unproven things
Curri : Why will I take your hand?
Gjokutaj : If you decided to ride the cable car as you said before, that's another thing
Curri : What do you need?
Gjokutaj : You lied and you continue to lie, you are not so naive to say that you do it for other interests
Curri : Why do you worry about what I say. You are a lawyer, but you are not speaking only as a lawyer
Gjokutaj : You lied!
Curri : I take responsibility myself, if I lied, people don't look at me anymore. Meta and Kryemadhi will be arrested next week
Gjokutaj : That's what you said the other time and nothing came of it
Curri : You should be happy more, you should tell me to say it more so that they don't get arrested
Gjokutaj : I cannot allow you to lie, tell the truth as it is.
Curri : You can't wait for them to be arrested but I will keep saying that they will be arrested so they don't get arrested. Only SPAK can hold me accountable and tell me why it is debunking our operations?
